Don’t leave home without your OWC Travel Dock.
Tiny little gadget saves my life on the road!
(Gear Review – On the road with US Times Sr. Editor Cirina Catania, July 28, 2019) OK – I admit it, I’m hooked on OWC’s Travel Dock. I have three of them! (They cost from $37 to $49 and are one of those simple solutions that provide peace of mind.
For example, I’m on my way to Duluth, Minnesota this week to conduct a two-day master class on the economics of filmmaking, ie., how to get and keep that job you want!
The tech at WDSE asked me what connections I had on my MacBook Pro (TB3) because he was checking compatibility with their projector. I told him I was brining my OWC Travel Dock and that it had an HDMI port, and I could hear his sigh of relief!
So, why do I have three? One is attached to the HDMI monitor next to my laptop at the studio where I am editing my film and the content for OWC RADiO. The other one is attached to my iMac in the studio used primarily for photography editing and admin, and the third stays in my laptop case that travels with me everywhere I go.
Yes, I use them that often!
