Another Explosion Averted in Brussels. Terrorist Apprehended by Police.
According to sources in Belgium, at 1 pm today (Friday, March 25) in the neighborhood near La place de Brouckère in Brussels, Belgian police apprehended a 35-year old terrorist attempting to plant a bomb in a trash can. The bomb did not detonate and was retrieved with the help of an ordinance robot. The man carrying the bomb was wounded in the leg by police, but is alive and has been arrested. A young girl who was nearby ran to safety and was protected by the police. No further information as to the complete identity of the perpetrator is available at this time .
